Thank you so much for inviting me to Granada. I have never in my life
as poet experienced such a warm welcome for poetry itself, such joy
in language and such passion for what can be created through it. I
was immensely touched by the hospitality and kindness shown not only
by those involved in the festival, but also by the people of the
city. I will never forget Granada’s beauty, and I will carry its many
kinds of music in my heart for a long time to come.
